Physical Healing

Your healing path may be focused on your physicality and any ailments, states of dis-ease, or challenges you may be facing. What have they come to teach you? Mental Healing

A Holistic Healing Modality

Brennan Healing Science (BHS) was developed by Dr. Barbara Brennan, a PhD NASA research physicist, author, psychotherapist, and one of the world's leading experts in energy healing.

A gentle, yet profound healing system, BHS is based on the Human Energy Consciousness System and its relationship to health and disease. Through hands-on energy healing, BHS interweaves both ancient and modern healing arts with quantum physics, spirituality, psychology, and authentic presence.

BHS is taught exclusively at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, the only four year college of energy healing and personal transformation licensed by the state of Florida to grant a Bachelor of Science degree.

Brennan Healing Science Practitioners undergo intensive training in the physical, energetic, and psycho-spiritual aspects of energy medicine and abide by rigorous principles of practice.

FAQs

  • As far as preparing, come as you are. If you feel called, reflect on what brings you to this healing today and what you need support with, but it’s not a requirement.

    As far as after the healing, you will be in a different state of consciousness from your ordinary beingness. Respect this moment and tread gently with yourself. I joke with my clients and tell them “this is probably not the time to go to Costco or the movies”. Enjoy the healing you received and let it reverberate through you. If time allows, you could even take a quick cat nap at home. Alcohol and recreational drugs consumed directly before or after your healing influence your energy field and may diminish the beneficial effects of the healing session. 

  • You are a multidimensional being, at all times present and living from more than just your physical dimension. Your energy-consciousness system vibrates in a dimension outside of the time and space constraints of your physical body. The same goes for your intentionality and your inner source or core star, the center of your being. Intention is the first law of energy. In remote healing, the healer connects with your energy-consciousness system from their energy-consciousness system. An intention and an open heart is all it takes to connect us to each other. Remote healings are as effective and, depending on the client, sometimes even more effective than in-person healings, since for some people the ability to open and receive is enhanced by being in their own comfortable space. 

  • Sacred Self Journeys create a beautiful, energetic template for transformation through your intention and committed action. Intention is the first law of energy. While miracles are possible, most healing on the earth plane requires time and asks for space. Your commitment to yourself over the three or six months of your journey with me is a beautiful and powerful gesture that potentiates the momentum on your healing journey. Saying yes to yourself for your chosen time frame sets the stage and creates an energetic container for everything that can potentially unfold. I invite you to repeat any of the journeys as you are called, and whenever you wish to have my support for a dedicated stretch of time in your life.

  • Brennan Healing Science Sessions are complete in themselves and also complement traditional and alternative medical care, psychotherapy, and other approaches to health and healing.

    I am not a medical doctor or psychotherapist, therefore I do not diagnose or prescribe treatment. I do not recommend that you stop taking or change any of your medications. In the case of serious illness, I can work with you if you are also under the care of a physician. I am not a medical intuitive and do not give readings. I am happy to connect and collaborate with other members of your healing team, such as your medical practitioner.

  • Your body, your mind, and your emotions are made up of consciousness as well as energy. The knowledge of this subtle energy has existed for thousands of years, called Qi by martial artists and Prana by yogis. Science is now confirming that at our most fundamental, we are energy and consciousness, and that this is the central organizing force of our bodies and our lives. Also called the aura or human energy field, it is a detailed and complex field of energy that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body. The physical body is governed by this field, and all systems of the body including organs and glands are supplied with life energy through it. As we now know, mind and body are not separate and the energy field is the vehicle for the mind-body connection. It is the subtle aspect of ourselves that holds our thoughts, feelings, mental processes, relational patterns, beliefs, higher will, higher mind, and spiritual feelings.

    This means that the habitual ways we run our energy system through our habitual thoughts, feelings, and defense patterns become crystallized in the body. Disease appears in the energy field first, often years before manifesting in the body, which means the energy field can be gently guided into balance and repaired in order to help prevent illness and to heal. Brennan Healing Science Practitioners can perceive and work with the energy field with specificity and precision.

  • Each session begins with time for connection, giving you the opportunity to presence yourself and what is with you in your life. This is your healing space. My job is to listen deeply. I will reflect to you what I hear and at times offer something in turn, but this is not talk therapy. My viewpoint is positive, holistic and body-centered. Then we transition to the hands-on energy healing, which will take up most of our time. For remote sessions, I will ask you to find a comfortable and private space, free from distractions. For in-person sessions you will rest comfortably on my healing table. All sessions take place with you fully clothed. Healings can be silent or very interactive, depending on where the flow of the session goes. My intention is to be deeply attuned to your healing wave. After the table work, I will check in with you to make sure you feel complete in the session. There will be space for you to presence yourself again and reflect, if you wish.

  • For new clients, please schedule a twenty minute intro meeting. This gives you the opportunity to see if my presence as a healer resonates with you. And it gives me a chance to determine if I can support you with your healing needs. Should I consider myself not to be the right fit, I will definitely assist you with an appropriate referral.
